CAUSES ARREST OF GROOM

Ingalls Woman Asserts Newly Married Man Broke Promise to Her. Anderson, Ind., Oct. 21. —Mahlon Peters of Ingalls, a bridegroom of less than a week, was arrested on an affidavit filed by Miss Florence Hoss of that town. She alleges that she had been keeping company with Peters for two years and that they were to have been married this month, but that instead of marrying her. according to his promise, Peters married Melvina Cooper.
