Pugilist Shot by a Ranch Hand Near Conway, Mo. < Stanley Ke'chel, champion middle- I weight pugilist of the world, died in the hospital at Springfield, j Mo., without regaining consciousness after being shot in the back by Walter 1 Hurtz, a farm hand on the ranch of R. P. Dickerson, near Conway. Goldie Smith, a woman who was with Hurtz. is being held as an eccessory.
