Farmer Surrenders as Army Deserter Rather Than Face Trial. Muncie, Ind., Oct. 14.—Accused of having set fire to the home of John W. Thornburg on July 29, Ora Gray, a young fanner, went to Indianapolis to give himself up as an army deserter, rather than face the charge of arson.
