THE COMMON COUNCIL.
The common council met in . regular session Monday night with all members present except Councilman Dean. Supt. light plant was instructed to purchase a carload of poles at lowest price possible. The city engineer was instructed to prepare plans and specifications for sewer in alley in block 17 and running thence Forth to Mlakemself sewer. The rules w ere suspended and the Milroy avenue sidewalk resolution was adopted and ordered. The report of Weston Cemetery trustees was made and same referred to finance committee. The city attorney was instructed to prepare a resolution for the opening of an alley through block 3, from Van Rensselaer street to Front Street. Matter of petition of E. L. Hollingsworth, et al, for improvement of alley through block 3, was referred to street committee.
