Quarrels With Lover, Drinks Carbolic Acid, but Life Is Saved. Marion, Ind., Aug. 26.-—Mrs. Blanch Jones. 25 years old, a widow, attempted suicide after a quarrel with her lover. She swallowed carbolic acid, but her act was discovered in time to save her life. She had written a note in which she rttjuesLed that no physician be called, as she wanted to die. In her suffering. however, she was glad to get medical relief.
