Well-Posted Agriculturist Talks of Indiana Prospect*. Martinsville, Ind., Aug. 26. — Amos Thornburg, for years correspondent for the United States department of agriculture, says that although the growth and maturing of corn in some sections of the county has been retarded by lack of rain the crop will be “the best that Morgan county has seed for several years.” He states that the wheat crop is not far behind the usual yield per acre or in total. The state average is thirteen bushels an acre and the average yield for Morgan county is sixteen bushels. <
