(Michigan City Man Receives Appointment to Superintendency. Michigan City. Ind.. July 29.—Prof. Frank D Haddock of this city has been appointed superintendent of the public schools in Sioux City, la., at a salary of $3,000. , Prof. Haddock recently returned from Porto Rico, where he was assistant commissioner of education, and before going there was at the ’ head of the public schools in Champaign. 11l .
