Davenport, deputy postmaster, and about a dozen others from here spent Sunday fishing on the Kankakee. W. A. landed a twelve-pound channel cat, the largest cat that has been taken from the Kankakee this season. Monon News: About nine car loads of tile are being received every week for the Kelley fann and this has been going on several months, keeping several teams empoyed continually in the delivery of same. And yet Mr. Curtis, the manager, informs us that the work of tiling the big farm of 1,700 acres has just fairly begun.
