Frankfort Business Meft Will Build and Operate Flying Machines. Frankfort, Ind., July 15.—The La Marr Aero Club, just incorporated. with a capital stock of $5,000. to construct, and operate aeroplanes, will have its headquarters in this city. It is made up of a number of leading business men of Frankfort, with W. B. Adams president. Perry Gable secretary- and Fav Cress treasurer. He is an old balloon man, having made hundreds of ascensions, and some time ago built a small aeroplane which he demonstrated would fly. The machine rose several* feet from the ground, being propelled byheavy rubber bands. This achievement interested the local business men, and the club was organized. \ ; “Mr. La Marr has also about completed a thirty-five-foot aeroplane, which is equipped with a 25-horse power motor, and the machine is expected to be ready for a trial flight within the next ten days.
