BASEBALL ACCIDENT. Muncie, Ind., July 17.—Ralph Carmichael, 20 years old, pitcher for the Westside Athletic Club, of this city, was struck on the right temple by a ball thrown by Pitcher Miller, of the Albany team, to-day and probably fatally injured. •

MIGHT REPAY HIM! 4 Indianapolis; Ind., July 18.— On the ground that he lost his money playing poker in Chicago clubrooms. Mayberry Kibler, of Brook, Ind., to-day asked tihe State Board of Tax Commissioners to relieve him from the responsibility of paying taxes on $6,000. Ihe State Board decided to ask the board at Brook to produce evidence to show that Kibler still has the coin.
