Heuson is helping his father cut wheat north of town. Mrs. Doan in improving from a severe attack of heart trouble. Henry Huntington spent the 4th with his best girl at Columbia City. Reuben Yeoman and Ike Parker were in town on business Thursday. Mrs. Benton Kelly and daughter Grace were in Rensselaer Wednesday. Jap Wright took his cattle out of pasture at his brother’s farm this week. Mrs. Joseph Yeoman visited relatives in this neighborhood Wednesday. Fred Markin and family spent Monday with Mrs. Powell and daughter Allie. Mrs. Geo. Heuson and baby and Holmes were shopping in Rensselaer Wednesday. Corn is usually laid by by the 4th of July* but this season there is only about half the acreage too large to plow.
