TAREHUMARE INDIANS STARVE
Indians Suffer from Lack of Food and Ask for Government Aid. Chihuhua. Mex.. July 8. —The state department has been appeal to to supply food to several thousand Tarehumare Indians in the Sierra Madrez range to prevent them from dying from starvation. It is stated that the Indians are suffering from lack of food on account of crop failure and that the famine has reached a serious stage.
