Says That Construction Work on Electric Road Will Begin . This Week. r\J£ugene Purtelle, the promoter k>f the Indiana Northwestern Traction company, was in Hammond to-day to go over the territory for the new line. Mr. Pur* telle told The Tinj.es that his company expected to begin on the construction work on Fayette street in Hammond next week and that the material was ordered and ready to be put down.
