WEATHER WAS BAD

For the Dedication Exercises Yesterday of New Chapel. Unfortunately a drizzling rain interferred greatly with the attendance at the dedication of the new chapel at St. Joseph’s college yesterday, the rain continued" all forenoon. Quite a gpod many people came to the exercises by rail, and hundreds of those who had intended to drive, either by auto or team, were kept away by he rain, and the attendance from towns was much smaller than it would have been with good weather. The rain stopped about 12:30 and. the clouds partly cleared away, makipg the afternoon fairly pleasant. Governor Marshall came on the 10:05 a. m., train from Indianapolis and made his address shortly after 1 o’clock, returning to the capito! on the 2 p. m., train. A complete report of the dedication will be given in Saturday’s Democrat. /
