AFTER THE BEET SUGAR MEN

Government Thinks They Have Relations With the Trust. Agents of the department of justice and the treasury are looking into the beet sugar industry in the west. The object is said to be to ascertain whether relations exist between the promoters of that industry and the sugar trust, in violation of the Sherman antitrust law, such as the fixing of prices or a combination in restraint of trade.
