COTTON PROBE BEGINS
Government to Investigate Gigantic Bull Movement. Federal investigation of the gigantic bull movement in cotton, in which the name of James A. Patton, of Chicago; Frank B. Hayne and William P. Brown, of New Orleans, and Eugene Scales, of have been mentioned, was actually set on foot by Attorney General Wiekersham and at the same time subpoenas issued in New Yorkfarrived in Chicago and New Orleans for. service. It is believed that several Chicago brokers will be called on to testify concerning the huge pool. Subpoenas have been served on nearly forty brokers here to appear. The government will seek thelndictment of those who aided in securing the corner and will* have for its purpose the breaking up of the pool. r. Sues School Superintendent.
