Ilane, who died suddenly at her home south of town Tuesday, were taken to her old home in Peoria. County, 111., for burial. Deceased leaves a husband and five children. J. E. Coovert, who has been working at the Babcock & Hopkins elevator the past several months, expects to leave in a few days with his, uncle, J. T. Ham for Saskatchewan, Canada, to make his home.
Mrs. James C. Myer and children went to- Oxford yesterday morning where they will make their future home. They have been living on. the Geo. Fate farm in Walker township, where her husband died recently. Miss Grace Worland went to Hammond Wednesday to make a short visit and from there left for-St. Paul Kans., where she will spend the greater part of the summer with Miss. Anna Worland, a cousin, fbr the benefit of her health. ' - ....... '( W. R. Willets and C. A. Lefler were in from Hanging Grove Wednesday. Mr. Willets is considerable of a fruit grower, and he reports that the severe cold last winter killed a great many of his peach trees, especialy the older ones. , Mrs. R. P? Benjamin went to Chicago yesterday to spend a few days with her son Junior, who is not improving quite -as rapidly from his recent operation for cataract as expected. He has been in the hospital for the past two months now. T\A. F. Long has sold his fnd lot in the factory addition to J. H. Carson, who has moved into same. The consideration, is said to have been SBOO. Mr. Long was the fortunate winner of the lot on which a good house was located in the lot drawing some lime ago. ’ . -
