MULE KILLS YOUNG FARMER
Anima! Resents Prodding and Strikes Driver With Fore Feet Bloomington, Ind., March 11. —Shirley H. Sparks, 22 years old, and son of Lewis E. Sparks, a farmer, was killed by a mule. Sparks, in company with his father, was bringing a wagon load of hogs to the city when the mule, which was tied to the rear of the wagon, began to buck. Young Sparks alighted and attempted to spur the animal on, when it became unruly and plunged at him .striking him with its fore feet He was hurled a distance of twelve feet and suffered a concussion of the brain In falling.
