Bmithsonlan Regents Hear Report from Col. Roosevelt. Washington, Feb. 11. —The board of regents of thd Smithsonian Institution at their meeting beard a report from Col. Roosevelt. Secretary Walcott read a letter fron. Col Roosevelt and also one from Edmund Heller in relation t the Smithsnian African expedition to the Smithsonian African expedi* tlon in British East Africa had ended and that specimens obtined had been shipped to the Smithsonian institution. The chancellor announced the reappointment of Representative Dalzell, Mann, Howard and Mr. Henderson and Dr» Bell as regents.
