ANOTHER REPUBLICAN OPINION

Starke County Republican: The average mortal who calle upon Governor Marshall for the sole purpose of paying his respects to the executive will find him a delightful entertainer, ready to talk upon almost any topic with as much freedom as if tlhe scene was laid out on the barn-yard fence instead of in the elegantly appointed gubernatorial parlors. He puffs at a big cigar, elevates his feet upon his mahogany desk and pays his respects to the legislature, and all kindred ills in language both plain and forceful. Candidly, there is something about this democratic governor of ours that makes one warn# up to him.
