Sir Robert Parks Ready to Start Work on Georgian Bay Canal. Ottawa, Dec. 28. —Sir Robert Parks Is coming to Canada to give his undivided attention to the Georgian Bay canal. It is said that he Is ready to assure the government that the money for the construction of the canal is on deposit in London and that work can be begun this year if the government will assent to a private company under a guarantee of bonds. He estimates the cost at from SIOO,000,000 to $150,000,000 and says the work will keep busy 20,000 men for ten years.
