WILD ANIMALS FROM AFRICA

Five Lions, a Zebra and a Leopard Received at Washington Zoo. Washington, Dec. 21.—Five lions, two of them weighing about 375’ pounds each; a zebra, not yet classified, and a beautiful leopard were part of a collection which arrived here for the national zoological park. They came as a present from W. N. McMilllan, a wealthy American who owns a large ranch near Nairobi, at which Mr. Roosevelt made his headquarters for several weeks.
