WIFE HELD AS POISONER

Qlrl Bays She Saw Prisoner Preparing Carbolic Acid Capsules. New Albany, Ind., Dec. ll.—Mrs. Pearl Armstron*. whose husband died

under suspicious circumstances, has been placed in jail charged with murder. Armstrong had been ill for some lime. A servant girl testified that Mrs. Armstrong gave her husband six capsules containing carbolic acid, putting on a pair of gloves when she filled the capsules. The poison, the girl said, was administered in doses one hour apart.
