Arrowroot Jelly.

Mix two heaping teaspoonfuls of arrowroot with just enough cold water to make a smooth paste; add one cup of boiling water and add to boiling water two heaping teaspoonfuls of white sugar and one tablespoonful of brandy or three tablespoonfuls of wine. This Is excellent for bowel trouble.
