Alva Willing Astor against John Jacob Astor has been revealed. Mrs. Roberta Menges Halsey Corwin
Hill, once known as "the belle of Sheepshead Bay” and who has had a most varied matrimonial career, was the woman named. In September, 1904 Mrs. Astor was informed that her husband was paying considerable attention to Mrs. Corwin Hill. Her Informant told her that Colonel Astor had Mrs. Corwin Hill as his guest on a trip up the Nile.
