INDIANA LABOR CHIEF IS SHOT

‘Ex-Member State Labor Commission Fatally Wounded. Indianapolis, Nov. 30.—George W. Purcell, a well known labor leader and for years a member of the state labor commission was shot and fatally wounded at Atlas. Taylor Suttles, charged with the shooting. Is in jail. Suttles runs a restaurant and social club, He claims that he refused to sell Purcell liquor and that he was attacked and fired In self defense.
