BUT THEY MAKE LAKE RELIABLY REPUBLICAN.

Something like 2,000 Hungarians, Pollocks, Italians, etc., were naturalized in this county for the city and town elections this fall. Probably not one in ten can "talk United States." Some have been in this country three weeks, some a month and some longer, but none come who will not start back to their mother county when they make their pile. These "men 1 ’ can vote and say who shall rule the United States, and the high school boys in this country, ranging from 16 to 20 years old, who have already forgotten more than that class of foreigners will ever know, must sit in the back ground and wait until they are of age. Such legislation as that ought to bring disaster to the representatives who made the law, and it will grow no better until all of the scum of the earth has landed here. Then it will be too late.— Lake Coupty Times (Rep.)
