Y., Nov. 5. —Professor Walter F._ Willcox, the Cornell statistician, states that $140,000,000 is being spent in the United States every year to safeguard the health of thd public. He declared that 104 to 106 males are born to every 100 females and that married persons have a lower death rate than the unmarried.
