WEDDING ANNIVERSARY “SURPRISE.”

A "surprise” was pulled off at Conrad Shaffer’s In Jordan township, Sunday, the occasion being the 40th wedding anniversary of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Enos Timmons of Plymouth, who were visiting them. About thirty of the old neighbors' and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Timmons' when they used to live in Jordan were < present, and that a good time was had goes without saying. Mr. Timmons was doubly surprised, we are told, surprised at the “surprise,” and also surprised because he couldn’t eat as much as he thought he could, and Frank Welsh says It took two ablebodied men to assist him in getting away from the table.
