Bank Cashier Commits Suicided

New York, Oct. 26.—Henry C. Carpenter, cashier of the Queens County Savings bank, Flushing, L. 1., went into the bank vault and, placing the muzzle of a revolver in his mouth, fired a shot into his brain and died. Carpenter’s motive for self-destruction is not known.
