EPISCOPALIAN PASTOR QUITS

Bishop Says All Is Well With Dr. Troop’s Moral Character. Washington, Oct. 19.—Rev. G. W. H. Troop, formerly assistant pastor of St. John’s church in Georgetown, has been deposed from the Episcopal ministry by Bishop Alfred Harding. Bishop Harding states that Dr. Troop has been deposed at his own request for causes not affecting his moral character. He will follow the tenets of Unitarianism.
