Grafting Supervisor Claims Judge Kept Him In Jail Unnecessarily. San Francisco, Oct. 8. —Michael Coffey, a former supervisor, convicted of receiving a bribe, has sued Judge Francis Dunne. Coffey alleges that Dunne refused to certify a transcript of the instructions given to the jury and demands SSOO. He says the court’s act kept him in jail unnecessarily as he was prepared to furnish a bond pending an aneal.
