Low Water in Arkansas River Stops Work In Oil Fields. Tulsa. Okla., Oct 8. —The Arkansas river has touched the lowest level recorded In twenty-five years. Drought in this vicinity has reached a most serious stage. Work in the oil fields, is practically at a standstill, there being no water to operate the machinery.
