FARMERS’ INSTITUTE CONFERENCE.

The twelfth annual conference of institute workers will convene Thursday and Friday of this week at Lafayette. The chief purpose of the meeting will be to make known to all, the means and methods employed by the most successful chairmen in arranging for conducting and financing their institutes, to emphasize the importance of interesting the boys and girls, and suggest the best ways and means of enlisting their co-operation and to exalt and make definite true ideals of rural life, and increase the efficiency of Farmers’ Institututes in promoting greater success and higher standards of living on the farm. Jasper county will be represented by the chairman and president of the Ladles Auxiliary.
