SUES SPEEDWAY COMPANY.

Jackson Automobile Co., Demands Possession of SIO,OOO Cup. The Jackson Automobile Company Friday filed a suit in the superior court at Indianapolis against the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Company to mandate the company to present it with the SIO,OOO cup which was the prize in the three-hundred-mile race on the program for the August meet in that city. The race was not finished owing to the three accidents which caused the deaths of two spectators and a mechanican. The Jackson people brought suit several weeks ago to obtain the prize and asked for SIOO,OOO damages because the prize had not been awarded. The Jackson machine was in the lead when the race was called off by the referee.
