Illinois to Have 105 Special Agents, Indiana 55 and Michigan 30. Washington, Oct. s.—New York, with Pennsylvania second, leads the states in the number of chief and assistant special agents who will be assigned to gather statistics relative to manufactures, mines and quarries for the next census. The total number of such employes will be slightly in excess of 1,600. To New York 250 chiefs and assistant special agents will be assigned; Pennsylvania 220, Illinois 105, Indiana 65, Wisconsin 35, lowa 30. and Michigan 30. Rensselaer Horse Show, October 14, IS, 16.
