Babcock were Chicago visitors Saturday. John Casey of Fair Oaks was in town Saturday on business. C. Kellner was in Chicago Saturday and Monday on business. Granville Moody, Jr., and sister, Miss Nell, spent Saturday in Chicago. Miss Martha Long went to Lafayette Saturday to spend a few days. R. H. Eilts and wife went to Ft.» Wayne Monday for a few days visit. Isaac Parcels returned Monday from a couple days visit in Chicago. Mrs. C. Copas, of west of town, went to Mopon on business Saturday. Mrs. Bert Hopkins went to .Delphi Saturday to visit relatives for the day. James Flynn went to Lowell Saturday to visit his daughter, Mrs. Van Weaver. J. H. Crlsler of near Claypool spent Sunday with his sister, Mrs. Benj. Harris. A. L. Miss Ida Murray of Monticello spent Sunday with her cousin, Mrs. Frank Donnelly, and family. Miss Ethel McColly of Chicago Heights came Saturday to make a week’s visit with relatives. A- M. Benden, who is employed on the Sternberg dredge south of town, spent Sunday in Monon. Mr. and Mrs. H. P. Shedd of Chicago spent Sunday with his father, S. S. Shed, and family of near town. Mrs. John Kohler was called to Lafayette Saturday to attend the funeral of her uncle, John Mlnnlcus. Delos Waymire, son of Dan Waymire, left Saturday to enter the Winona agricultural school, at Winona Lake. Miss Beatrice Yates was called to Saybrook, 111., Monday by the death of a friend, Miss Fern Owen, who died Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Harris, who have been visiting friends in Medaryville for the past few days, returned home Monday. Omar Osborne and James Jordan spent Sunday with their parents here, returning to their school at iPurdue Monday. Mrs. Bertha Husted of Fair Oaks spent a few days here with her brother, Lawrence Halleck, and both returned to Fair Oaks Saturday.
