Harry McAlpin, a Demotte Barber, Takes Liberties With FiveYear*Old Girl. There was considerable excitement up Demotte way the first of the week over the alleged attempt of Harry McAlpin, a Demotte barber, to assault the ( five-year-old daughter of Postmaster Wells of Demotte. McAlpin has been drinking considerably of late, it is said, and he enticed the little girl into his shop.
