Football Hero Gets Place Vacated by Charles H. Treat. Washington, Sept. 24.—Lee McClung, the treasurer of the Yale university, has been selected as treasurer of the United States, to succeed Charles H. Treat. McClung is one of the old New Haven football heroes. During his college course he played on four elevens with W. W. Heffelflnger of Minneapolis, probably the most famous athlete that Yale has ever turned out.
