REV. FATHER MEYER RESIGNS

Pastorate of St. Augustine’s Catholic Church and Will Go To Minster, Ohio. Rev. Father Thomas Meynr has resigned his pastorate of St. Augustine’s Catholic church and will go to Minster, Ohio, where he has accepted a charge and where his aged mother resides- He preached his farewell sermon here Sunday. Rev. Father Christian Meyer of Sedalia, Mo., will succeed him here. Father Meyer has been located at Rensselaer for ten years, and under his leadership the church has prospered greatly. He has made a large number of friends while here, not only in the church but among the people generally, who will be sorry to see him leave. The best wishes of the entire community go with him to his new home.
