OTHERS SHOULD PROFIT THEREBY.
W. J. Wright’s big stock-reduct-ion sale closed Saturday, and he is much pleased with the results. It was the biggest furniture sale that ever took place in Rensselaer and was probably the only auction sale of brand-ne'w furniture ever held in Jasper county. Renseelaer certainly draws a great crowd of neople, and especially every Saturday, and many come from quite a distance. Last Saturday there was an immense crowd in town. Wright’s furniture sale brought many from a good distance and only demonstrates the value of newspaper advertising, aa a trade-drawer., There is no reason why Rensselaer should not be known all through Jasper and surrounding counties ae the best trad-
ing point in north-western Indiana. Judicious newspaper advertising brings ten fold better results than any other form of advertising a merchant can adopt, and it’s the cheapest, too.
