COMMON COUNCIL MEETS.

And Allows a Batch of Claims Monday Night—Not Much Else Done. The common council of the City of Rensselaer met in regular session Monday night. Not much of importance was done except allow claims. Following is a report of the proceedings: City attorney was instructed to prepare resolution for the extension of the Division and Scott street sewer out to the new river channel, the property owners to pay the cost of such extension.
