MISS ELLA O’CONNOR CAME
. NEAR DEATH AT KNIMAN. jp-Miss Ella O’Connor, eldest daughter of ex-sheriff John O'Connor, had ’a narrow escape from drowning in water of a dredge ditch about a half mile from Kniman Monday evening. With a friend from Remington she was standing on a small bridge that spans the ditch, when without warning she was suddenly seized with an attack of heart failure and fell headlong over the rail of the bridgeHer companion, a young man, at •nee ran to her rescue and she was drawn from the waters in an unconscious condition and remained in that state until late Monday night. Tuesday she had almost recovered and her attending physician fears no serious, consequences.
