ONE ON JOHN.

A family reunion was held a few days ago at the home of Mrs. John Scott in Barkley tp-, in honor of John’s fifty-fourth birthday. All of his children being present except one daughter, Mrs. Henry Williams of Chatsworth, Ill. Following are the names of those present: Mr. and Mrs. William Chapman and family; Mr. and Mrs. Newton and daughter Opal; Mrs. Greer Bunnell and family; Mrs. Alonzo Wood and family; Mr. and Mrs- Samuel Holmes and family; Bert Wood; James Stanley. In all twenty-nine were present. Each brought well filled baskets, and ice cream was also served. All enjoyed themselves, especially John. It was a day to be remembered by all, and they left wishing him many more such birthdays.
