If we were compelled to test our advice before giving it perhaps there would not be So much of it on the free list. Following a fad is the modern substitute for riding a hobby. Some people always talk as if yoy were to blame for all their troubles and their wife’s relations. There is a personal characteristic possessed by some people that causes us to like them better the farther away they are.

There are people who do nothing so extremely well that it would be a pity to put them at anything else.
