VENETIAN NIGHT AT WINONA LAKE
Visitors at Winona Lake who are lovers of spectacular water carnivals will be treated to one of exceptional attractions this year. Venetian Night has always been one of the great features of the summer program at this popular summer resort. Endless pains have always been taken to make It a star event. For years It has been given under the personal direction of Mrs. R. L. Spinning, of Chicago. The ladles of Winona have ever been her untiring assistants. Last year the event attracted thousands of visitors and was pronounced the most successful ever given. As Mrs. Spinning and her able assistants are not the kind to have exhausted their resources, it Is promised that the carnival presented this year will contain even greater spectacular. effects and grtlstlc productions than ever before. This year there Is to be a queen of the carnival with her court In attendance and many novel features. “Venetian night” occurs August 13.
