FIGHT FOOD PRESERVATIVES

Members of Institute of Homeopaths Oppose Use of Benzoate of Soda. Detroit, Mich., June 25. —Two resolu tions dealing with the pure food laws of the country were the features of the American Institute of Homeopathy session. One resolution commends Dr. Harvey W. Wiley of the government pure food department and his administration of his office, and the second urges congress to amend the food laws to prevent the use of benzoate of soda and similar preservatives in food products.
