LITTLE BILLY GRANT INJURED.
r-"'Billy," the three-year-old son of fdr. and Mrs. Van Grant,, was slightly injured in the left check Saturday afternoon by the delayed explosion of a rifle shell in a gun his father was holding. Van( had been shooting’ sparrows with a 22-caliber target gun and was extracting from the barrel a shell which had failed to explode. His son was standing directly behind him, and when the shell which had been holding fire exploded it flew from the gun and struck the child in the check-J^* The brass shell was inbedded some little distance in the cheek and it was neccesary to call a physician to have the wound probed. Tt will be, however, only a short time in healing if no complications set in.
