ANOTHER FIRE RUN.
Assistant Chief Charley Rhoades has issued a challenge to Chief “Jawhn” Montgomery for a return hose coupling match, to be held Thursday evening at 7 p. m., feeling confident that if he can get on the right side of driver Zea that he can win. The events will be prefaced by a band concert by the Mell Dramatic Company’s band, and will end in a titanic struggle between two teams in a water fight. B. F. Fendig and A. F. Long have hung up a box of cigars as prizes in the hose coupling contest and five dollars has been raised for prizes in the water fight, to he divided $3 and $2. The events coupled with the band concert by the show company’s band, will draw a big crowd out Thursday night. Don’t fail to be one of the number.
