PICNIC PARTY GOES OVER DAM

Pour of the Eight Persons In a Launch Are Drowned. Grand Rapids, Wis., May 28. —Rushing through the gates of a paper mill dam on the Wisconsin river, on the outskirts of Grand Rapids, a motor launch carried four people to their deaths. There were eight people In the launch. Four of them were rescued after they were all but drowned. The dead are: Bessie Anderson. Rath Bodoger, May Ford, Ralph Anderson, all of Grand Rapids. It took nearly an hour to revive two of those who were rescued. The party was returning from up the river where It had spent the picnicking.
